This Privacy Policy explains how Linefolio (“Linefolio”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our service. Linefolio is operated by an individual sole trader established in Bulgaria, within the European Union, and we process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Bulgarian law.

Who we are (data controller)

What data we collect

• Account data: your email address, used to create and secure your account.
• Profile data: details you choose to add — full name, username, headline, bio, photo URL, phone number, and LinkedIn URL.
• Career entries: the roles, projects, courses, mentoring, and other timeline content you create.
• Technical data: minimal data necessary to operate the service, such as authentication session cookies.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and maintain the service: to authenticate you, store and display your timeline, and render your public profile at your chosen username. Content you mark as public is, by design, publicly visible to anyone with the link.

Legal bases for processing

We process account and profile data to perform our contract with you (providing the service). Where we rely on your consent — for example, publishing a public profile — you may withdraw it at any time by unpublishing or deleting your account.

Processors and third parties

We use Supabase as our hosting and database provider. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf, storing your account data, profile, and career entries. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

Linefolio uses cookies strictly for authentication — to keep you signed in and secure your session. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep your data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and career entries are deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Bulgaria this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).

You can access and edit most of your data directly in your dashboard, and request access or deletion by emailing us.
